Learn how to support the Museum here.
Since the Museum opened in 1996, we have established programs within our community that help foster and develop our youth for the workforce and entrepreneurship.
In January 2021, we started the Sojourner Truth African Heritage Museum Youth Docent Program. We have seven paid youth ranging from middle school to second-year college that are researching, discussing, and engaging visitors in all of our exhibitions.
The youth docents also manage our
Sojo Blog,
YouTube channel, and
TikTok.
